Import Owners with each Activity

You can now import activity owners directly when uploading your programme. Simply add an "owner" column with email addresses to your Excel import, and activities will automatically be assigned to the right team members.

Create Issues Instantly from Channels

We’ve added a "Quick Issue" button directly in Channels that provides fast access to create issues in Shape. When you tap the + icon next to the message field, you'll now see a "Quick Issue" option. Tap it to jump to a streamlined issue form where you can snap a photo and add details before returning to your conversation.

Smart Issues – AI-Powered Issue Creation (Beta)

Create issues faster with AI assistance! Head to Issue Tracker and simply provide a brief description (and optionally an image), and our AI will automatically suggest:

• Title and description
• Category and subcategory
• Impact assessment
• Draft status for your review before publishing
  This reduces admin work while ensuring issues are captured with richer detail right from the start.

Email Reminders

Stay on top of important updates even when you’re away from the app:

• @Mentions in Channels: Get email alerts when someone mentions you, ensuring you never miss critical messages
• Overdue Issue Reminders: Everyone linked to an issue receives automatic notifications when it passes its due date, keeping teams accountable for resolving blockers
